Cookie policy.
Last updated: 5 February 2026. A plain-language read on the cookies and similar storage this site uses, and how to manage them.
What a cookie is, here
A cookie is a small piece of data this website asks your browser to remember. It can be used to keep you logged in (we don’t have logins), to remember a preference, or to measure how the site is used. We also use the browser’s local storage for the same kinds of things.
Cookies we use on kindaroo.bond
Strictly necessary
A PHP session cookie is set when you load the contact page. It exists only to hold a security token (CSRF) that protects the form against cross-site attacks. It expires when you close the browser. Without it, the form cannot submit.
The site also uses a single browser local-storage entry (kr_consent_v1) to remember whether you have accepted or rejected the cookie banner, so we don’t show it on every page.
Performance / analytics
We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other long-lived analytics on this site. Our hosting platform produces aggregate, non-identifying logs (page count, country of visit) and that’s the limit of our measurement.
Marketing
None. We don’t run remarketing pixels, advertising trackers, or behavioural profiling.
Managing your consent
On your first visit you see a banner with two buttons: Accept or Reject. Your choice is stored in the browser. To change it, click the gear icon in the bottom-right corner of any page, which re-opens the banner. You can also delete the kr_consent_v1 entry from your browser’s storage settings; the banner then re-appears on your next visit.
Browser-level controls
All modern browsers let you block, view or delete cookies for a specific site or globally. On Chrome it’s under Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies. On Safari, Preferences > Privacy. On Firefox, Settings > Privacy & Security. Blocking the session cookie will prevent the contact form from working, but the rest of the site is fully usable.
Updates
If we change the cookies we use, this page is updated and the date at the top is refreshed. For broader questions on personal data, please see our privacy policy.
